Sherwood-Jones Artists of London

Sherwood-Jones Artists is an ongoing collaborative art practice I run with my partner, focused on creating detailed, considered artwork inspired by London’s built environment and the natural world.
Together, we produce limited-edition prints that explore contrast and balance between architecture and nature, structure and organic form, precision and play. Our London skyline pieces reimagine iconic landmarks through a hand-drawn lens, stripping them back to line, rhythm and composition, while our nature-led work takes cues from botanical illustration, carving and printmaking traditions.
The process is intentionally slow and tactile. Each piece begins as a hand-drawn illustration, where we spend time refining form, negative space and detail before translating that work digitally so that final elements such as colour and composition can be completed before turning it into finished prints. This approach allows us to create work that feels graphic and contemporary, but rooted in craft and observation.
Alongside being a creative outlet, Sherwood-Jones Artists has been an important space for experimentation, helping shape my approach to visual systems, restraint and storytelling without words. It’s also a reminder of the value of collaboration, shared authorship and making work simply because it’s worth making.
